We provide services in Internal Medicine, Allergy, Cardiology,Endocrinology, Geriatrics, Hematology/Oncology, Hospital and Sub-Acute Care, Infectious Disease, Nephrology, Obsterics and Gynecology, Pulmonary and Rheumatology, at locations throughout the Greater Hartford area.  We admit patients primarily to a large tertiary care teaching center (Hartford Hospital) which is a teaching hospital for the University of Connecticut, as well as Johnson Memorial Hospital in Stafford Springs.

Physician Openings:  Candidates should be board certified or board eligible in their specialty.  Our compensation package is extremely competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience, with bonus incentives and opportunity for partnership following two years of employment.  Our offices all utilize the Allscripts electronic health record.

Job Title:           Hospitalist Physician

Hospitalist Physicians (multiple openings) sought by Connecticut Multispecialty Group, PC, to work in Hartford, Ct.

Duties:  Provide comprehensive clinical care in an inpatient setting to patients with diseases and injuries of the human internal organ system.  Order diagnostic tests, interpret the results order appropriate interventions, therapies, medications and other treatment modalities, and establish preventive health practices for patients.  Collect, record, and maintain details of the patients' histories, physical examinations, diagnostic test results, assessments, management plans and treatment outcomes.

Requirements:  M.D. or equivalent; completion of Residency in Internal Medicine (3 years); BE/BC in Internal Medicine; licensure to practice medicine or eligibility for licensure in Connecticut.

Education Required:           M.D. or Doctorate
Training Required:              3 years
